Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cybersecurity Consultant focused on Penetration Testing to join us within Bitdefender's Cyber Security Services (Offensive Security) team.

In this role, you will play a key role in enhancing our clients’ cyber security posture by performing technical cyber assessments. You will work in close partnership with the team to perform penetration testing against our clients’ digital assets and infrastructure to enhance their security posture. As an Offensive Security team member, you will be responsible for performing web and mobile application penetration testing, network penetration testing, source code reviews and red team assessments. You will also be involved in conducting social engineering exercises.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced setting, be able to adapt quickly to changing security needs, and contribute to a wide range of Cyber Security projects.

Requirements

Below are a list of requirements but not all are mandatory:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or equivalent;
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in penetration testing or vulnerability assessments in a professional setting;
• Knowledge of security controls, penetration testing, networks and operating systems;
• Cybersecurity certifications: Minimally possess OSCP or CREST CRT. Other cybersecurity certifications would be an added advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and work independently ;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to go above and beyond in response to changing priorities and challenges;
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment;
• Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills;
• Willingness to travel overseas on projects as the need arises;
• Flexible approach to delivery, including the ability to support extended hours.
