About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that serve as the backbone of our platform. Your expertise will ensure seamless data exchange, optimized performance, and secure integrations, playing a vital role in delivering a high-quality user experience. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel is a plus. You should have a solid grasp of REST API design, SQL databases, and ORM tools. Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing is essential to ensure code quality. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, message queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ, PubSub, and Kafka, and containerization tools like Docker is highly desirable. Knowledge of microservice architecture principles and experience with cloud-native development will set you apart. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required for effective collaboration within our global team. A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation is highly valued.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using PHP, ensuring high performance and security standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize APIs for scalability, security, and performance, implementing best practices. Develop and manage data storage solutions, including database design and management, to support platform features. Integrate third-party APIs and external services to enhance platform capabilities. Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs and backend processes to facilitate internal and external use. Monitor backend services to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development to continuously improve our systems. Write clean, scalable, and thoroughly tested code that delivers tangible business value. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with peers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
