About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Prezly. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. As a backend developer, you will work closely with product designers, founders, and developers to enhance our core platform and contribute to projects that directly impact our customers' experience. Your expertise in PHP, particularly with Symfony, will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding our infrastructure. While this is a remote position, candidates must be within a three-hour time difference from CET to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on PHP and Symfony framework.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Experience with React, Continuous Integration (CI), and TypeScript is a plus.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, containerization, and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS with Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace for remote work.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using PHP and Symfony, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Collaborate with product designers and frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and infrastructure management.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack and infrastructure, including containerization and cloud deployment strategies.
- Engage actively in team meetings, providing insights and updates on development progress.
