IT Data Analyst - Data Engineering & Analytics

Assignment description

We are looking for an IT Data Analyst (Data Engineering & Analytics) for our client in the banking sector.

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

Help to resolve data-intensive decisioning problems through application of data processing and modelling. Provide insights and recommendations through data analysis. Contribute to driving intelligent automation through algorithmic and model-based solutions.

Must-have knowledge and experience

• Ability to translate complex technical data into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments
• Experience implementing or working within Medallion Architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold)
• Familiarity with compliance-aware CI/CD practices. Understanding of data governance principles in production contexts
• Prior work in a regulated industry (finance or healthcare)
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks
• Familiarity with at least one IaC framework
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation that enables cross-team data reuse

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

• Experience with large, cross-domain data
• Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Impala or Snowflake

Assignment start date: 1.4.2026

Assignment end date: 31.12.2026

Location: Helsinki, Finland with 25% remote work possible candidates must already be based in Finland.
