Project Manager (Agile Delivery)

Location: Cork, Ireland

Contract: Daily Rate Contract

Working Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite Tue, Wed, Thu)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Agile delivery expertise to lead cross functional software teams through iterative delivery cycles.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time while enabling agile teams to operate efficiently and maintain high standards of product quality.

The role requires someone comfortable working in fast paced, collaborative environments where priorities evolve and strong stakeholder communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead the delivery of software projects through agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
• Ensure sprint goals and project milestones are clearly defined and delivered on schedule
• Coordinate delivery activities across engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Agile Leadership

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Promote agile best practices and continuous improvement within delivery teams
• Support teams in maintaining high velocity and delivery consistency

Team Enablement

• Remove delivery impediments and resolve blockers impacting project progress
• Encourage collaboration and help teams operate as self organising units
• Provide guidance on agile processes and delivery discipline

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary interface between product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders
• Provide clear updates on project progress, risks, and delivery timelines
• Ensure transparency across delivery plans and priorities

Metrics and Reporting

• Track sprint metrics including velocity, burndown, and team performance indicators
• Produce project reports and provide data driven insights to leadership teams

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and potential delivery issues
• Escalate concerns when required and ensure mitigation plans are in place

Required Experience

• 3+ years experience working as a Project Manager or Scrum Master within software delivery environments
• Strong experience delivering projects using Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred
• Experience using agile delivery tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle

Working Arrangement

This role requires candidates to be onsite in Cork three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
