Senior Embedded Software Engineer

The Role

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software solutions. Your expertise will contribute to developing state-of-the-art technologies that advance performance and functionality. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and verifying software subsystems, modules, and components.
• Writing high-quality, structured, and maintainable code.
• Debugging and maintaining existing software solutions.
• Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to enhance design and development outcomes.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas in sprint planning, retrospectives, and architectural discussions.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a driven professional with strong technical acumen and a passion for innovation. You’ll need:

• A degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• At least six years of experience in embedded software development on Linux or Windows platforms.
• Expertise in modern C++ and additional experience with C, Python, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with methodologies like Object-Oriented Design, UML, Design Patterns, Agile, and TDD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a bonus.
