Job Summary
The Network Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and supporting enterprise network security infrastructure in multi-client and multi-datacenter environments. The role focuses on firewall security, VPNs, load balancing, DDoS protection, proxy solutions, and cloud security platforms while ensuring high availability, compliance, and SLA adherence. The position involves 24x7 operational support, incident/change management, security hardening, and close collaboration with SOC, server, and infrastructure teams.
- Design, manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, proxies, and wireless infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain perimeter and internal network security devices (Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5).
- Manage cloud networking in Azure and GCP (NSGs, ASGs, VNETs, Firewalls, Routing).
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and incident response coordination.
- Conduct patching and hardening of network components.
- Utilize ITIL-aligned processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request).
