We’re looking for a Security Analyst with a strong interest in Microsoft security technologies to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our enterprise security posture across the full Microsoft E5 suite, including Defender, Intune, Purview, Sentinel, and Azure AD.
You’ll play a key role in protecting our users, data, and endpoints while collaborating with senior engineers to design and enhance detection, prevention, and response capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate identity, endpoint, and cloud threats using Microsoft 365 Defender tools (Defender for Identity, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud Apps).
- Configure and maintain Conditional Access policies and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure secure access across the organization.
- Support and improve endpoint and mobile device security through Microsoft Intune, including compliance policy management and integration with Conditional Access.
- Collaborate with compliance and governance teams to apply Microsoft Purview for data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), and insider risk management.
- Assist with alert triage and incident investigation using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender analytics.
- Participate in the development of security baselines, configurations, and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging Microsoft security capabilities and evolving threat techniques.
- 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security operations, or identity and access management.
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365 Defender components or related E5 security technologies.
- Working knowledge of:
- Azure AD Conditional Access and MFA
- Microsoft Intune device or app management
- Microsoft Purview data protection and DLP concepts
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM) or privileged access workflows
- Familiarity with identity protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-500.
- Experience using Microsoft Sentinel for log analysis and alert management.
- Basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and reporting.
- Exposure to hybrid or cloud-first enterprise environment
