The Company

Our client is a prestigious school in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.


The Role

Working within a supportive and tenured team of 5 in HR, they are looking for a true HR Generalist to join the team who is looking to utilise and enhance their existing skillset. Working closely with another HR Coordinator, you will have fantastic exposure to the whole breadth of the function and an opportunity to grow with the school.

This is a permanent role, operating Monday-Friday, 38 hour week, 4 days in office and 1 from home per week. Parking provided.


Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for all incoming HR queries, providing advice on associated Awards, entitlements and obligations
  • End to end recruitment and selection; including candidate and hiring manager communication
  • Maintenance of the HR system, including tracking staffing movements and adjustments
  • Coordinate onboarding for new staff


Your Profile

To be a suitable you must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR Coordinator or Generalist role - 2 years minimum
  • Previous experience in Education or a similar corporate services industry - desirable
  • Have full working rights in Australia
