Job Description
The Lead, HR Generalist is a core member of the HR team, enabling the smooth running of HR operations within the Santen France legal entity (Commercial and R&D activities). The role takes ownership of employee administration and is accountable for the effective performance and implementation of general HR processes. More specifically, the position is responsible for managing the legal training plan, payroll coordination, the induction program, and HRIS administration.
The role also contributes to the implementation of selected EMEA HR projects at the country level.
What You Will Do
- Act as first contact for employee administration matters for our internal customers
- Responsible for the overall administrative management of staff including starters briefing, contracts and leavers, status changes, absences, allowances, maternity leave. Ensure that the HR files are kept up to date.
- Ensure that the HRIS data are kept up to date: new employee records, compensation changes, organization updates, time management….
- Responsible for the correctness of the monthly pay run in close collaboration and monitoring of the payroll outsourcer. Contribute as required to the budget planning process.
- Accountable of the end management of legal training process : training plan, budget and related administration
- Own HR dashboard and reporting activities and provide insight to hierarchy where appropriate.
- Participate to the smooth running of performance management process with employee and managers.
- Contribute to continually enhance and implement the local HR management policy and tools. Advise employees and managers on their appropriate and consistent use to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations pertaining to employment conditions and relations.
- Contribute to the good relationship with company partners to guarantee dialogue
- In charge of the recruitment of all non-management positions. Manage the entire process, shortlist candidates, select suitable selection methods, offer roles and carry out the onboarding process.
- Manage offboading process: Conduct exit interviews and follow up with manager (if appropriate).
- Potential involvement in the implementation of international projects.
What you will bring to the role
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field, with good English and knowledge of labour law.
- 5+ years of HR experience in a similar role; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, intellectual rigor, and sense of responsibility, with high standards of confidentiality, reliability, and professional ethics.
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented, with flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (SuccessFactors is an asset), with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
