Job Description: Cloud Service Administrator (3 Freelancers)

Overview

We are seeking experienced Cloud Service Administrators to support a large‑scale, regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidates will have deep Azure expertise, strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code capabilities, and a mature DevSecOps mindset. This role requires regular travel, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Dublin as part of a hybrid working model.

⭐ 1. Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer

5–10 years of hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure

• Strong background in Azure‑centric enterprise environments
• Able to own infrastructure end‑to‑end and work autonomously in regulated settings

⭐ 2. Deep Azure Expertise

Candidates must be able to design, build, automate, and troubleshoot complex Azure environments, including:

• VNETs, V‑WAN, BGP
• Private endpoints, routing, firewalls
• Multi‑region architectures
• Azure DevOps pipelines
• Azure Policy / Policy‑as‑Code

This experience should be based on real implementations, not theoretical exposure.

⭐ 3. Terraform SpecialistAble to write modular, reusable Terraform code

• Strong understanding of state management, workspaces, and drift
• Experience with large‑scale IaC deployments
• Capable of designing IaC patterns, modules, and guardrails

⭐ 4. DevSecOps MindsetStrong focus on security automation and shift‑left practices

• Experience implementing Policy‑as‑Code
• Familiarity with CI/CD governance and compliance gates
• Comfortable working with CIS/NIST‑aligned frameworks

⭐ 5. Strong Networking BackgroundHands‑on experience with cloud networking automation

• Understanding of routing, segmentation, and firewall technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network flows
• Experience integrating network security into CI/CD workflows

6. Scripting & Automation Skills

Proficiency in at least one or two of the following:

• Python
• PowerShell
• YAML
• KQL
