Data & Analytics Lead

Essential Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience working within data analytics, business intelligence, or data platform environments, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering analytics solutions using platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, Qlik, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture principles, data modelling techniques, and cloud-based analytics ecosystems.
• Experience integrating and analysing enterprise data from ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA or comparable platforms.
• Proven ability to translate complex business problems into scalable data and analytics solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working across international markets or multi-regional environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and business teams.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, beverage, or other complex supply chain-driven industries.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics approaches including AI/ML, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience delivering analytics initiatives supporting functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and sales.
• Additional European language skills.

About the Role

This role provides leadership for the European Data & Analytics function and plays a key part in shaping how data supports business decision-making across multiple markets. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, technical expertise, and team leadership to deliver scalable analytics capabilities that drive operational performance and business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the regional Data & Analytics function and ensuring analytics initiatives are aligned with business priorities across areas such as manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and finance.
• Overseeing the development and evolution of a modern, cloud-based analytics platform.
• Partnering with business and technology leaders to identify high-value analytics opportunities that support efficiency, growth, and cost optimisation.
• Driving the development and deployment of advanced analytics and AI use cases, including areas such as demand forecasting, production optimisation, quality analytics, and supply chain insights.
• Translating business requirements into scalable data models and analytics solutions while ensuring effective integration of enterprise data sources.
• Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing Data & Analytics team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Establishing data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and best practices across the regional analytics environment.
• Collaborating with technology teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and broader data strategies.
• Managing relationships with external technology partners and vendors to accelerate delivery of analytics capabilities.
• Promoting data literacy and encouraging adoption of analytics tools and insights across the organisation through training and stakeholder engagement.
