A leading Canadian bank is seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master to join its digital banking portfolio, supporting the delivery of customer‑facing digital products across accounts, credit cards, mortgages, payments, investments, and mobile banking.

This role requires a dedicated Scrum Master with deep hands‑on experience facilitating agile ceremonies, coaching teams, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement within a structured agile governance environment. Strong technical awareness and experience working on large, complex initiatives in financial services are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Support and improve team structure, workflows, and Scrum practices
• Manage product and sprint backlogs
• Remove impediments and foster cross‑team collaboration
• Drive improvements in team performance, productivity, and delivery speed
• Coach teams on agile principles and best practices
• Proven experience working with developers, BSAs, and other technical resources.

Required Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master
• Strong experience with agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe)
• Proven coaching and facilitation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working in banking or financial services
• Technical background [ideally development] or experience working closely with development teams preferred
• Experienced in managing multiple pods is nice to have

Certifications (Preferred)

• CSM, A‑CSM (or equivalent)
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
