At KEYTEO, we’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a cutting-edge project in the air defence domain, contributing to highly reliable and mission-critical systems.
This long-term assignment places you within the R&D environment of one of our top clients, where you’ll work on complex, large-scale software systems that demand precision, performance, and robustness.
🔧 Your Mission
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced software components in C++ within complex, high-performance systems
- Work with modern frameworks such as Qt/QML to build robust user interfaces
- Navigate and improve legacy codebases, bringing structure and innovation where needed
- Collaborate with architects, system engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to software design (UML), unit testing, and continuous improvement practices
- Support integration, debugging, and optimization of mission-critical applications
🎯 What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Engineering (ETH, FH, or TH)
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong expertise in object-oriented C++ development
- Proven experience with Qt/QML
- Experience in non-embedded C++ development environments
- Hands-on experience with Git or Mercurial, Visual Studio, and unit testing
- Ability to quickly understand and work within complex legacy systems
- Solution-oriented, innovative, and self-driven mindset
- Knowledge of distributed simulation is a strong plus
- Languages: English C1, German B2+
