Job Description

We now have a rare opportunity for a remuneration professional to join our team as a Remuneration & Benefits Analyst. Reporting to the Remuneration & Benefits Manager and acting as a critical member of a small team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of remuneration and benefits activities such as the Annual Remuneration Review process, job evaluations, global mobility and the provision of quality remuneration advice to a range of stakeholders. It is a broad remuneration and benefits role and will suit someone who is keen to expand and grow their skills and knowledge in this profession. Key to achieving success in this role will be your ability to build your knowledge and expertise across a range of remuneration, benefits and mobility topics, policies and processes whilst quickly establishing credible relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the broader Human Resource community and leaders.

As Remuneration & Benefits Analyst, Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Playing a key role in the execution of the annual remuneration review for our salaried leaders and team members, ensuring a smooth process and minimal errors
  • Conducting job evaluations, utilising the Korn Ferry Hay Methodology, and ensuring that the respective tools and database is maintained
  • Completing data for remuneration surveys for Australia and NZ
  • Providing expertise and advice to HR Managers & Advisors, ensuring that key remuneration and benefits processes are documented and communicated
  • Support the design and administration of benefits and continuously seek opportunities for process and policy improvements
  • Partnering with the Qantas Mobility Team in the setting up of and supporting international assignments and moves
  • Working closely with Jetstar immigration providers, support the business in managing visa queries.

You Will Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Business, Commerce or Human Resources, coupled with training in job evaluation methodology (Hay or Mercer) highly regarded
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Sound experience (2 - 5 years) in an analyst, remuneration and benefits or HR generalist role
  • Exposure to a complex, fast paced work environment
  • Familiarity with remuneration processes within an in-cloud-based HR software, such as Workday
