We’re partnering with a well-known Australian organisation on the Central Coast to engage a junior–mid level Network Engineer to support a period of network upgrades, switch deployments and infrastructure improvements.

The role is based on the Central Coast, and we are seeking applications from candidates who are currently based in the area.

Key responsibilities:

• Install, configure and commission network switches (access and core)
• Perform basic network changes, upgrades and migrations
• Support LAN/WAN environments, including troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Assist with patching, cabling, rack-and-stack and onsite deployments
• Work alongside senior engineers on larger network projects
• Provide Level 2 support across network and infrastructure issues
• Document configurations and changes clearly

Key skills & experience:

• Hands-on experience configuring switches (e.g. VLANs, trunking, basic routing)
• Exposure to enterprise networking environments
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and networking fundamentals
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet or similar
• Comfortable working onsite and in customer-facing environments
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Entry-level to mid certifications (CCNA or equivalent)
• Experience with firewalls, Wi-Fi, or cloud networking
• MSP or project-based deployment experience
