Cloud Infrastructure & DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure & DevSecOps Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in automation, cloud engineering, secure infrastructure design, and modern DevSecOps practices.
As a key technical contributor, you will design, build, and optimise cloud environments using Infrastructure‑as‑Code, enhance CI/CD workflows, and embed security controls through Policy‑as‑Code. You will also work closely with cross‑functional teams to enable efficient, secure, and scalable delivery of applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code automation, particularly with Terraform, to build reusable patterns and modules.
- Use DevOps and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, Git, and YAML pipelines to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues and document re‑engineered processes.
- Manage and automate network firewall technologies to strengthen security protocols.
- Implement Policy‑as‑Code frameworks aligned with industry standards such as CIS and NIST.
- Design, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with operational and security gates.
- Work with multiple product teams to tailor CI/CD processes while ensuring compliance and quality.
- Evaluate and onboard new tools, languages, and frameworks to improve the DevSecOps ecosystem.
- Support the deployment of new product features and system enhancements.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure cloud engineering.
- Proven background in cloud networking automation and Terraform IaC.
- Experience with Azure networking services including Virtual WAN, VNETs, and BGP.
- Good understanding of DevSecOps and hands‑on experience implementing its practices.
- Expertise in CI/CD automation using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Ability to manage cloud infrastructure configurations and self‑service automation patterns.
- Strong knowledge of multi‑region and multi‑cloud network architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Perl, YAML, or KQL.
- Experience working within Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe environments.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of enforcing security controls via IaC and Policy‑as‑Code.
