Holt Executive are delighted to be partnered with a global leader within the connectivity and cybersecurity space to support a critical Technical Sales Manager - Cyber Security hire.


This role is focused on driving the growth of advanced cybersecurity solutions across maritime and critical infrastructure sectors, combining technical expertise with strong commercial leadership.


The Technical Sales Manager - Cyber Security will work closely with Account Managers, technical teams, and customers to identify risks, design tailored solutions, and deliver complex cybersecurity engagements across IT and OT environments.


Key Responsibilities – Technical Sales Manager - Cyber Security

  • Partner with Account Managers to identify, develop, and close cybersecurity opportunities across existing accounts
  • Proactively generate new business within maritime and critical infrastructure sectors
  • Lead complex cybersecurity sales cycles from discovery through to deal closure
  • Provide technical expertise across cybersecurity domains (GRC, PenTesting, SOC, network, endpoint, cloud, OT security)
  • Conduct customer discovery and fully qualify opportunities (budget, authority, need, timeline)
  • Deliver technical proposals, workshops, and product demonstrations
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders including CISOs and IT/OT leaders
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and pre/post-sales teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Support sales enablement through training, materials, and technical guidance
  • Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory developments within critical infrastructure


Key Experience Required – Technical Sales Manager - Cyber Security

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales, technical sales, or solution engineering
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and managed services across IT and OT environments
  • Experience working within maritime or critical infrastructure sectors (highly desirable)
  • Understanding of relevant frameworks and regulations (e.g. IMO 2021, ISPS)
  • Proven ability to support and close complex, high-value sales opportunities
  • Strong hunting capability with experience winning new logos
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel as required
