During your tenure, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Define, own, and govern the end-to-end technical solution architecture across Wealth core platforms, digital and mobile channels, CRM, and analytics platforms to support business objectives.
- Lead critical architecture decisions encompassing microservices and APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure), with a strong focus on security, performance, and scalability.
- Develop and execute the integration strategy across the Wealth ecosystem, including core banking and Wealth platforms, market data providers, payments systems, reporting tools, and downstream applications.
- Define and enforce API standards, integration patterns, and data flow designs to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient connectivity across multiple systems.
- Ensure all integration and platform enablement solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, resilience, security compliance, and operational performance.
- Lead and coordinate engineering teams and third-party vendors through all delivery phases—design, build, test, and release—while embedding CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Serve as the technical design authority during delivery, overseeing adherence to non-functional requirements such as security, availability, latency, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate closely with Wealth techno-functional subject matter experts, data science, AI, and integration teams to align technical architecture with evolving business and regulatory needs.
- Engage with product vendors and cloud providers to optimize platform capabilities, integration approaches, and leverage emerging technologies for Wealth solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams to uplift engineering standards, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in Wealth technology engineering and integration delivery.
- Builds own understanding of our purpose and values; explores opportunities for impact.
- Demonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent.
- Understands expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on track.
- Actively focuses on developing effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understands how their daily work contributes to the priorities of the team and the business.
- 5+ years in financial services engineering
- Extensive experience working with Wealth Management or Core Banking platforms.
- Proven expertise in integration platforms such as MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Boomi, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity and event-driven architecture principles.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale engineering delivery projects.
- In-depth understanding of cloud-native architectures and related technologies.
- Solid focus on governance, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Willingness to travel.
