About The Role
We are growing fast, and we're looking for an HR Coordinator who wants to develop into a well-rounded HR professional. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and supporting people - and who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment where everything is not fully defined yet.
You'll have a big impact on employee experience and how we shape people processes in Finland. If you enjoy helping an organization to grow and thrive, you'll love this role. As we scale, this role has the potential to grow into a broader HR generalist or specialist position. You will get early exposure to HR strategy, workforce planning, and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term HR career.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, and communication with candidates
- Support managers and HR Business Partner in candidate tracking and documentation
- Prepare contracts and amendments using approved templates
- Coordinate preboarding and onboarding
- HR Administration & Lifecycle Support
- Maintain and update employee data in our HR systems
- Support HR communications
- Assist with benefit administration and travel arrangements
- Coordinate offboarding logistics
- Payroll & Reporting Support
- Collect and verify monthly payroll input
- Liaise with external payroll provider and finance to ensure deadlines are met
- Track and report key HR data
- HR Projects & Process Improvement
- Support HR Business Partner in building and documenting HR processes and templates
- Help organize employee events and engagement activities
- Contribute to HR initiatives and continuous improvement
- Office Management
- Handle incoming physical mail and deliveries
- Ensure office is well-stocked with necessary supplies, organized and functioning smoothly
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another relevant field
- Experience in HR coordination, office management, or administrative roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a structured and proactive way of working
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with data or documents
- Strong communication skills in English and Finnish; Swedish is a plus
- Comfort working in both an office environment and visiting construction sites
- Ability to build good relationships with employees, managers, and external partners
- Confidence using digital tools and systems (HR and recruitment systems; specifically Huma, Mepco, Teamtailor)
- Bonus experience that helps you succeed: previous HR experience in the construction industry, experience in a fast-growing international organization, understanding of basic HR processes and employment documentation
- Enjoy organizing, structuring, and bringing clarity
- Can stay calm and prioritize when things move fast
- Feel comfortable working with incomplete information and helping build processes from the ground up
- Have a proactive, hands-on approach and like taking ownership
- Want to grow your HR competence and contribute to a scaling organization
