The Role
- Develop embedded middleware in C and C++ for mobile machinery, considering functional safety requirements.
- Focus on porting and extending middleware to modern multi-core systems.
- Create software specifications, requirement documents, and comprehensive documentation.
- Conduct development-accompanying testing and support commissioning processes.
- Successfully completed university degree (M.Sc./M.Eng./Diploma) in Technical Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Expertise in microcontrollers used in embedded real-time systems.
- Strong knowledge and experience in embedded programming with C and C++.
- Ideally, experience with safety-related software development and knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO61508, ISO26262, ISO25119).
- Enjoy complex software projects and demonstrate creativity.
- Proficient communication skills in both German and English.
