What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Assist the EDD Lead on EDD related activities documentation, trackers, and workflows are always updated for any internal audit or regulatory inspection.
  • Update all internal registers within the team (PEP list, Rejection list, IWL, Exit tracker) within the deadline.
  • Maintain a high-quality score on all EDD reviews of ≥ 90% passed based on QA reviews.
  • Duly responsible to conduct EDD reviews on any business escalations within the TAT.
  • Provide daily and monthly MIS to EDD Lead on BAU works and report any challenges or gaps in the system as well as process as part of ongoing EDD reviews conducted.
  • Conduct a detailed Enhanced Due Diligence review and assessment to effectively mitigate EDD related risks at the bank level.
  • Ensure proper record keeping and documentation for further requirements from a regulatory perspective.
  • To ensure timely completion of all FCC and Security related training modules and hours within the Compliance team.
  • Remain up to date with the recent CDD- EDD, AML/Sanctions guidelines, best practices & relevant approaches.
  • Assist the EDD Lead during ad hoc assignments and initiatives required by Senior Management

  • Ability to work across multiple departments to accomplish tasks.
  • Look at ways to enhance the customer experience by adding value to team activities.
  • Ability to perform Enhanced Due Diligence & validation on high risk client documentation and data enrichment in internal systems.
  • Ability to identify trends & potential risks associated with High -Risk customers, and work with Line Manager to address gaps and opportunities.
  • Ability to deliver continuous process improvements, in view of the changing operating and regulatory environment.

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or another quantitative related field is required.
  • CAMS/ any certificate under FCC
  • 3-5 years of experience in Compliance – KYC-EDD/AML/Sanctions areas
  • Customer/people focus.
  • MS Office/Email.
