Job Title: Junior IT & Security Technician

Duration: 12 month initial contract

Workload: Full time hours

Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)

Location: Paris, France (On‑site first 3 months, then hybrid 2 days remote)

The client is seeking a Spanish speaking IT & Security Technician to provide first‑level technical support, ensure smooth IT operations, and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of security systems across multi‑site environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, laptops, peripherals).
• Provide support for Windows and macOS environments.
• Diagnose and resolve user‑reported hardware and software issues.
• Configure and maintain corporate applications.
• Assist with security systems including CCTV, access control, IP telephony (VoIP).
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of security devices (experience with Genetec or Axis valued).
• Provide basic networking assistance (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, switches, firewalls).
• Participate in multi‑site project support, documentation, and planning.

Must‑Have Skills:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of switching, routing, and WLAN technologies.
• Technical familiarity with: Cisco Switching, Cisco WLAN, Cisco Catalyst Center, Fortinet, Infoblox, DHCP/DNS.
• Fluent English and French AND Spanish
• Ability to work on‑site (hybrid option after 3 months).
• Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Nice‑to‑Have:

• Experience in retail or multi‑site environments.
• Knowledge of Genetec and Axis security platforms.
• Project management experience.
