Role Summary

Hawkroot is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support data analysis and reporting activities across ongoing projects.

This remote part-time role (20 hours per week) is suitable for individuals at an early stage in their data analytics journey who are looking to build practical experience working with datasets and reporting tools.

You will support the team in organising data, performing basic analysis and contributing to reporting tasks that help generate insights for internal and project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with organising and preparing datasets for analysis
• Support data extraction and querying using SQL
• Conduct analysis using Excel
• Help prepare reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
• Identify trends and patterns within datasets
• Document findings in a clear and structured format
• Support team members with data-related tasks

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is beneficial
• Attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Relevant coursework, personal projects or self-learning in data analytics are welcomed.
