Type: Full-time contract, 11-month PAYE - paid on a weekly basis via Principle HR

About the Role
We’re seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a high-performing team in Dublin. This is not a basic IT support job—it’s a technical role supporting customers with real-world troubleshooting in databases, JavaScript, and Linux.
You’ll diagnose complex issues, optimise database performance, debug JavaScript code, and navigate Linux systems to deliver solutions to high-value customers.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience supporting production systems.
- Strong skills in relational databases (MySQL or Oracle)—performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimisation.
- Ability to read and debug JavaScript code in live environments.
- Comfort using Linux command-line tools for troubleshooting and administration.
- Excellent communication and a calm, methodical approach to solving problems.
