Optum are hiring a Cogito Administrator in Letterkenny.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions
- Build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports for clinical and operational users
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, data latency, and performance issues
- Resolve data quality issues across source systems and downstream reporting layers
- Support BI platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Ensure reporting structures align with business and operational needs
- Maintain documentation for data flows, technical specifications, and processes
- Collaborate with analysts, DBAs, BI teams, and business stakeholders
- Provide guidance on data definitions, availability, and best practices
- Participate in on call rotation providing 24x7 support for critical reporting issues
- Support multiple healthcare systems across U.S. time zones and work U.S. business hours as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven solid SQL development and performance tuning experience
- Proven solid understanding of ETL concepts, BI tools, and enterprise reporting
- Proven solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to be self motivated, flexible, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on call rotation
- Epic certifications (Clarity Data Model, Cogito, Caboodle)
- Proven experience supporting healthcare data and reporting environments
- Proven Epic experience, including Cogito tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, Reporting Workbench)
- Proven experience supporting ETL refresh cycles, upgrades, data promotions, and performance monitoring
- Proven experience with SSIS, MuleSoft, or other integration tools
- Proven experience working with structured and semi structured data (XML, JSON, CSV)
- Demonstrated familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, APIs, and web services
- Proven experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript)
- Proven ability to translate clinical and business requirements into technical solutions
