You will be part of the Security Operations and Engineering team within our Customer and Digital division, working with modern tooling and a MDR partner to keep our environment safe.
What You’ll Do
- Join us as a permanent full time Cyber Security Analyst based in Sydney or Brisbane, working in our Security Operations and Engineering team.
- Monitor and investigate alerts across tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Abnormal Security, Zscaler, Tenable and Varonis, turning signals into clear, actionable insights.

- Take ownership of the full investigation lifecycle, from triage and analysis through to containment, documentation and lessons learned.
- Help uplift our SecOps capability by refining detections, updating playbooks and contributing to automation using SOAR and low-code tooling.
- Support security awareness activities and participate in an on-call rotation every three weeks with an allowance
About You
You are naturally curious and enjoy getting to the bottom of security alerts and unusual behaviour. You like working with modern cloud and security technologies, collaborating with others and explaining complex issues in a clear, calm way. You are looking for a role where you can build your technical depth, have a real impact on security outcomes and be part of a supportive team that values learning and improvement.
Experience & Skills That Count

- Ability to investigate activity across identity, endpoint, cloud and email, and turn findings into clear recommendations.
- Interest or experience in automation and low-code tools to streamline and standardise response.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Cyber Security or IT and / or certifications like SC 200, AZ 900, AZ 500 or Security+ (or equivalent).
The Right Mindset
- Curious and analytical - you ask good questions, test your assumptions and follow the data.
- Calm and collaborative - you communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially during security events.
- Adaptable and growth oriented - you enjoy learning new tools and approaches and are comfortable in a cloud-first, continuously evolving environment.
