Overview
We are looking for talented Java Developers to support the development of modern, scalable applications within a global financial services transformation programme. This role focuses on building robust backend systems and APIs that underpin critical banking platforms. You will work within Agile teams delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable backend applications using Java
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams for integration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery
- Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
- Optimise performance and scalability of applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented cod
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
- Support testing, deployment, and production releases
Requirements
- 4β8 years of Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.)
- Experience in Agile environments
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Financial services experience (preferred)
