Job Title: CloudOps Engineer (4-6 Years Experience)

Duration: 12+ months contract

Introduction: We are seeking a skilled CloudOps Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. The CloudOps Engineer will work at the intersection of Cloud Platform management, DevOps practices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, playing a vital role in optimizing system performance and uptime. This position significantly impacts the organization's ability to deliver robust, secure, and efficient cloud-based services to our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment pipelines using DevOps methodologies, ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Apply SRE best practices to monitor system health, manage incidents, and improve service reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard cloud environments.
• Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Solid knowledge of SRE principles, incident management, and reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
