OBSS is looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-impact, data-driven solutions. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build advanced models, generate insights, and design scalable solutions that drive real business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable AI-driven solutions by framing business problems as end-to-end AI products, taking ownership from ideation to production.
• Build and deploy advanced Machine Learning and Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, RAG pipelines) to deliver high-impact, data-driven outcomes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of data science workflows, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, and deployment using modern MLOps practices.
• Ensure robust and high-performing model deployment in production environments, continuously monitoring and improving model performance.
• Proactively identify new AI opportunities aligned with business goals, developing prototypes to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling insights, effectively communicating business value to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable and production-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• 3-8 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, with hands-on project delivery.
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning and Generative AI techniques, including LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to work efficiently on large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with end-to-end ML lifecycle and MLOps practices, including model deployment and monitoring.
• Experience or strong interest in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Product-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on delivering business impact and improving user experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and take initiative.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
