**The Role:**

Our Client is searching for a seasoned Smart Contract Engineer who’s ready to push the boundaries of DeFi. You’ll be at the heart of our protocol, designing and developing smart contracts that integrate with staking providers and the EigenLayer ecosystem. This isn’t just about writing code—it’s about innovating in the Liquid Restaking space and ensuring our systems are rock solid, secure, and scalable.

**About You:**

You’re more than just a developer; you’re an innovator with a deep understanding of DeFi and smart contract architecture. You know the ins and outs of Liquid Staking and Ethereum, and you’ve got a proven track record of deploying high-impact contracts on the Ethereum mainnet. If you’re detail-oriented, obsessed with security, and ready to take on complex challenges, it is where you need to be.

**What You’ll Be Doing:**

- **Build and Integrate:** Design and develop smart contracts for the protocol, including seamless integrations with staking providers and the EigenLayer ecosystem.
- **Innovate:** Lead the charge in researching and expanding Liquid Restaking technologies, pushing the envelope in DeFi.
- **Architect Systems:** Create and implement supporting systems that ensure our protocol is secure, efficient, and scalable.
- **Secure and Monitor:** Design and enforce security best practices, proactively spotting and fixing vulnerabilities to protect our on-chain systems.

**What You’ll Need:**

- **Experience:** At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying production-grade Solidity contracts.
- **Expertise:** Deep understanding of Liquid Staking protocols (LSDs) and Ethereum Staking.
- **DeFi Knowledge:** Strong grasp of DeFi protocols and smart contract-level integrations with various systems like lending platforms, yield generators, and DEXes.
- **Track Record:** Proven success in optimizing and launching complex smart contract systems on Ethereum, with notable traction metrics—preferably with a top 20 TVL-ranked protocol.
- **Attention to Detail:** A critical eye for on-chain security, writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- **Communication:** Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across timezones and with cross-functional teams.
- **Tech Skills:** Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment tools.

**Bonus Points:**

- Experience developing Liquid Staking protocols or staking platforms.
- Familiarity with EigenLayer and its ecosystem.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and running blockchain nodes.
