We are looking for an IT Risk & Governance Control Analyst to join our team and support the development of a digital-first banking application.
This role is focused on ensuring that our products and processes are fully compliant with regulatory, audit, and risk requirements, while enabling teams to move efficiently. You will work closely with Product Owners, teams, and second-line functions to support risk assessments, governance processes, and documentation across the product lifecycle.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Ensure that all product development activities are compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
- Support and coordinate IT risk assessments for new features and changes, working closely with Product Owners and teams
- Collaborate with second line (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security and Data) to guide teams through risk assessment processes and ensure proper approvals
- Prepare and maintain required documentation for releases, audits, and regulatory checks
- Support internal and external audits, including data collection, coordination, and follow-up on remediation actions
- Ensure that risks, issues, and controls are properly documented, tracked, and resolved
- Contribute to improving governance processes, documentation standards, and risk frameworks
- Act as a key point of contact between product teams and governance functions
- Work closely with teams to ensure compliance does not block delivery, but is embedded into the development process
- Experience in IT Risk, Governance, Audit, or Compliance (preferably in banking or fintech)
- Strong understanding of risk assessment processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with IT/product teams in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of frameworks such as DORA, EBA, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, or similar
- Experience supporting audits and managing documentation
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage dependencies with second-line functions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple processes and stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection and Security principles and regulations (e.g., GDPR), and the ability to ensure compliance within product and IT processes
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
