We are supporting our client in their search for a strategic Head of Business Development to lead their growth agenda. In this role you will identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, drive strategic partnerships, and shape the commercial roadmap in alignment with the company’s long‑term ambitions. The role requires a strong balance of strategic vision, commercial acumen, and hands‑on leadership.
The Role
- Define and execute the business development strategy to support growth objectives.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities.
- Build strategic plans for market expansion, diversification, and partnership ecosystems.
- Establish, nurture, and convert a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and close high‑value commercial agreements.
- Develop revenue models and business cases to support new ventures or partnerships.
- Represent the client at key industry events, conferences, and business forums.
- Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and development plans.
- Instill a culture of collaboration, accountability, and commercial excellence.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for product development or service innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic commercial roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset.
