CGI is looking for a Functional Analyst. The future colleague will ensure that business needs are translated into structured functional designs that can be implemented efficiently within existing systems and architectures.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and convert them into detailed functional designs.
- Produce functional specifications covering process flows, system behavior, data structures, and validation rules.
- Evaluate the impact of new requirements on current applications, integrations, and databases.
- Work closely with developers and solution architects to refine design decisions and address technical constraints.
- Support configuration and integration activities by clarifying functional logic and expected outcomes.
- Maintain structured documentation aligned with internal standards.
- Participate in backlog refinement and provide functional guidance during development cycles.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements and support business processes effectively.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in functional analysis, or business analysis with strong technical exposure, within IT projects.
- Experience in the retail industry is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Solid understanding of application architecture, data models, and system integration concepts.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
