About the Role

We are hiring AI Software Engineers to design and build AI-native applications and platforms; systems where AI is a first-class primitive, not a bolt-on feature.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to develop intelligent software systems, internal AI platforms, and customer-facing AI capabilities that directly shape Elek’s future.

This role suits engineers who enjoy deep problem-solving, modern system design, and shipping production AI software.

Key Responsibilities

Build production-grade AI systems using Python and modern backend frameworks

Design architectures for AI inference, orchestration, data retrieval, and model interaction

Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for scalable deployment

Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI-driven features

Contribute to technical decisions, architecture reviews, and engineering standards

Ship high-quality, maintainable code used in real products

Strongly Preferred Experience

Strong software engineering fundamentals (computer science, systems thinking, clean code)

Professional experience building backend or full-stack applications

Hands-on experience working with LLMs or modern AI systems in real projects

Comfortable designing APIs, services, and distributed systems

Strong problem-solving ability and intellectual curiosity

Able to operate in a fast-moving environment with real ownership

Bonus Points

Experience with agent frameworks or AI orchestration patterns

Background in data engineering or ML systems (not mandatory)

Exposure to engineering, scientific, or technical SaaS products
