Senior Fullstack Engineer

📍 Vienna, Austria (Hybrid ~3 days onsite, flexible)

We’re working with a growing, product-led tech company who are rebuilding their engineering team in Vienna and investing heavily in product development.

They’ve developed their own advanced analytics and tracking platform, used by businesses to understand user behaviour and optimise digital campaigns in real time. Alongside this, they’re launching a new AI-enabled workflow product, combining automation with modern LLM tooling.

This is a strong opportunity to join at a key point in their growth, with real influence over how systems and the team evolve.

The Role

You’ll be working across the full stack, contributing to both existing products and new feature development. This is not a siloed role — engineers here are expected to take ownership of features end-to-end, from frontend through to backend and into production.

You’ll be working on:

• A high-volume analytics platform (event tracking, data processing, campaign optimisation)
• A new AI-enabled workflow engine (automation + agent-based systems)
• Improving and refactoring existing systems where needed

Tech stack:

• Frontend: React (Angular/Svelte a plus), modern frontend architecture
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs & WebSockets
• Data: PostgreSQL, S3, Redis
• Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Other: Git/GitLab, strong web fundamentals; Python or Go a plus

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Solid frontend experience with React or Angular
• Experience working on product-based systems (not purely agency/project work)
• Comfortable working in complex systems and improving legacy code
• A proactive, product-minded approach — not just executing tickets

Nice to have:

• Experience in analytics, tracking, or data-heavy systems
• Exposure to Kafka, ClickHouse, or event-driven architectures
• Interest in AI tooling or automation
