Our project focused on maintaining and evolving a mission-critical blood management system used in hospitals worldwide.
The product is a modular transfusion management platform that integrates software and hardware devices to control, monitor, and verify blood product storage and transfusions across hospital environments. The system extends the functionality of Blood Bank Information Systems (BBIS) and ensures patient safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance throughout the blood supply chain.
The solution integrates with medical hardware devices, hospital systems, and databases, operating in regulated healthcare environments.
Our team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing an existing legacy system, addressing technical debt, implementing new features, and ensuring system stability and compliance.
IF YOU ARE
- Experienced with 3+ years of commercial mobile development experience
- Skilled in both iOS (Objective-C) and Android (Java) development
- Strong in working with legacy mobile applications and codebases
- Adept with maintaining, refactoring, and stabilizing existing mobile solutions
- Familiar with client-server architecture and RESTful APIs
- Comfortable working with web services and distributed systems
- Having a basic understanding of C++ to read and debug if needed
- Familiar with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side
- Work on real-world applications used by healthcare professionals
- Take part in stabilizing and improving legacy mobile solutions
- Solve practical engineering challenges in a complex system ecosystem
- Be part of a project that directly impacts patient safety and hospital operations
- Maintain and enhance mobile applications used at the point of care in hospitals
