Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst – Market Research

About the Role: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytically minded QA Analyst to join our Panel Solutions team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our panel data, insights, and reporting across multiple products and projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with panel data, proficiency in key analytical tools and techniques, and a solid understanding of market research methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance checks on panel data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Validate and clean panel data sets, ensuring proper formatting and reliability.
- Utilise software tools such as Excel and SPSS to manipulate, interrogate, and analyse data.
- Identify potential data discrepancies or anomalies, and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Communicate findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with market researchers, data scientists, and product teams to support research projects and deliverables.
- Maintain documentation of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Apply analytical techniques, such as significance testing and MaxDiff, to validate research outputs (preferred, not essential).
- Leverage engineering and/or data science to automate QA processes (preferred, not essential).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with panel data, including row-level data, metadata, and aggregate tables.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (including command functions and pivot tables).
- Hands-on experience with SPSS or similar statistical software.
- Understanding of market research methodologies, survey design, and questionnaire specs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines and manage competing priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
