We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a large-scale ICT transformation program. This is a contract until 30 June, with potential for extension. Applicants must be Australian citizens with a current Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance.
The successful candidate will lead agile teams in a DevOps environment, ensuring delivery of complex technology initiatives. You will facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and support the application of SAFe methodology within a fast-paced, multi-team program. Your experience in DevOps practices will be critical in enabling automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based delivery across the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups for multi-team delivery.
- Apply Scrum and SAFe practices to support teams in a DevOps-enabled environment.
- Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of priorities and program objectives.
- Identify and remove impediments, supporting continuous improvement and delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to risk management, reporting, and governance processes as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Scrum Master certification with >3 years’ experience leading Agile teams.
- Demonstrated experience working in DevOps environments with CI/CD, automation, and cloud-based delivery.
- Strong understanding of SAFe methodology in complex programs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and work under pressure.
- Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in tools such as MS Office Suite, Azure DevOps, and Miro (or similar).
Desirable Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Management, Project Management, or related fields.
- Prior experience delivering large-scale ICT transformation programs, preferably within an Australian Government or highly regulated context.
