Requirements

Role Summary

Strategic technical leader responsible for defining DevOps architecture, driving automation at scale, and ensuring system reliability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and standardize enterprise CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins ecosystem)
• Lead adoption of infrastructure as code using Ansible, Chef (and similar tools)
• Design scalable container platforms (Kubernetes at enterprise scale)
• Establish observability strategy using Splunk, Dynatrace
• Drive DevOps transformation, automation, and reliability engineering practices
• Define best practices for deployment, monitoring, and incident management
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies
• Mentor senior engineers and guide cross-team initiatives

On-Call Expectations

• Not part of regular rotation; acts as final escalation point
• Engaged during critical/high-severity incidents
• Focus on systemic fixes and prevention strategies post-incident

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience in:
• Jenkins and CI/CD architecture
• Configuration management (Ansible, Chef)
• Containerization and Kubernetes at scale
• Monitoring and observability (Splunk, Dynatrace)
• Strong programming background (Python, Go, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of cloud and distributed systems
• Proven leadership in DevOps transformation
