HR Generalist

My client, a well-established manufacturing organisation operating within a multinational group, has partnered exclusively with Re:work to hire an HR Generalist. This is a hands-on, people-facing role reporting directly to the Head of HR and sitting at the heart of a high-volume, fast-paced operational environment.

Role Summary

This is a broad generalist role with a strong employee relations focus. The successful candidate will act as a trusted HR advisor to line managers, independently manage grievance and disciplinary processes end-to-end, and contribute to learning and development delivery, HR operations, and an ambitious 24-month HR Project Plan.

The role suits an experienced HR professional who is energised by variety and challenge, is grounded in Irish employment legislation, and is confident working in an on-site, operational environment with a mixed workforce.

About the Company and HR Team

Our client is a growing manufacturer, employing approximately nearly 400 people in Ireland. They operate in a high-demand sector with secured contracts and strong growth trajectory.

The culture is collaborative, people-centred, and committed to building a progressive employee experience from the ground up. There is a meaningful body of work ahead, from ER firefighting to longer-term engagement initiatives, CSR, and wellbeing.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Independently managing grievance and disciplinary processes from first notification through to outcome, applying fair and natural justice throughout
  • Attending regular manager meetings to advise on conduct, absence, probation, and performance, acting as a hands-on HR partner to operational leaders
  • Designing and delivering training programmes including new starter inductions, compliance modules, and soft skills sessions via an existing LMS platform
  • Co-owning the employee lifecycle with the HR Administrator, including onboarding, contract management, probation reviews, and leavers
  • Reviewing, drafting, and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with Irish employment law and codes of practice
  • Contributing to the 24-month HR Project Plan across engagement, wellbeing, CSR, and ESG initiatives

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a dedicated, people-facing HR role
  • Proven track record of independently managing grievance and disciplinary investigations from start to finish
  • Strong, applied knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Confidence coaching and advising line managers, including in challenging conversations
  • Willingness and ability to deliver training and inductions to groups (comfort in front of a room required)
  • Exposure to a manufacturing, operational, or blue-collar environment is an advantage but not essential
  • CIPD qualification preferred; equivalent experience considered

What Is On Offer

  • Salary: €45,000-€55,000 depending on experience
  • Company pension matched
  • 22 days annual leave
  • Free secure on-site parking
  • Monday to Thursday finish at 4:30pm; Friday finish at 1:00pm
  • Mileage reimbursement for business travel
  • Bike to work scheme

How They Work

This is a fully on-site role based at the company's Dublin South headquarters. The team works Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and finishes at 1:00pm on Fridays.
