Mad Parfumeur is a fast-growing fragrance company combining creativity, innovation, and technical excellence. We develop and produce distinctive fragrances using carefully selected raw materials sourced from global suppliers with a strong focus on quality and sustainability and combine them with attractive and fashionable packaging. We are currently looking for an Import Operations Specialist to join our team in Istanbul to support our import operations with a strong operational and analytical perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on documentation and operational processes related to import activities,
• Coordinate and monitor customs procedures in collaboration with customs brokerage firms,
• Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems with keeping the system up to date,
• Manage shipment flows between ports, warehouses, bonded warehouses, and factories,
• Work closely with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and cost-effective import operations.
• Controlling all related invoices and forwarding them to the finance department.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations of suppliers in accordance with company procedures,
• Prepare and share periodic reports with relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, foreign trade departments, or closely related field,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import operation processes,
• Proficient in MS Office tools with strong presentation and reporting skills,
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import legislation, and international transportation processes,
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills,
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to work effectively with different departments,
• Knowledge of Letters of Credit (L/C) and Inward Processing Authorization Certificate (DİİB),
