Network Engineer | Hybrid | MSP
We are currnetly working with a fast-growing, technology-led MSP. As part of their continued expansion, they’re looking for a Palo Alto-focused Network Engineer to join their driven Engineering team.
You’ll provide Level 2 & Level 3 support across customer environments, focusing heavily on Palo Alto technologies. This includes troubleshooting complex issues, implementing changes, and ensuring optimal performance of network security infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead technical onboarding for new clients (configurations, VPNs, monitoring, documentation)
- Manage and support Palo Alto security platforms across multiple environments
- Proactively identify and resolve network/security issues end-to-end
- Perform upgrades, patching, and ongoing optimisation
- Work within SLA-driven managed service environments
- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing
- Support continual service improvement initiatives
What you'll need:
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (NGFW & security platform)
- Proven background in network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across network/security environments
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. SNMP, Zabbix or similar)
- Familiarity with ITIL-based support environments & SLAs
- Strong communication skills (technical + customer-facing)
- Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals
Certifications:
- Current PCNSE (or equivalent Palo Alto certification) – essential
- Additional Palo Alto certifications – highly desirable
Desirable:
- Experience with Prisma Access / SASE solutions
- Exposure to SD-WAN, ideally within Palo Alto environments
- Knowledge of modern, cloud-delivered security architectures
