Summary:
We are partnering with a global leader in locomotive manufacturing and software development, operating in over 50 countries with more than 27,000 employees worldwide. This role supports a critical cloud platform powering large‑scale IoT applications.
As a Cloud Admin, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the 24/7 operation, support, and deployment of a highly available cloud infrastructure, managing 80+ Kubernetes clusters and 700+ nodes hosted on AWS. You’ll collaborate closely with both local and global teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support, operate, and maintain a large‑scale cloud platform for IoT applications
  • Manage and operate Kubernetes (K8s) clusters across multiple AWS environments
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure operating 24/7
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with global engineering and platform teams on deployments and operational improvements
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and operational tasks on Kubernetes clusters and nodes
  • Manage cloud resources across AWS compute, networking, and storage services
  • Work with ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests
  • Contribute to operational best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Solid hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) administration and operations
  • 2+ years of practical experience working with AWS cloud services
  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting (3+ years)
  • Experience using ticket and service management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
  • Advanced  English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Experience supporting production environments with on‑call or 24/7 operations
  • Shift Monday  to Friday 14:00 from 20:00 ARGTZ
