Summary:We are partnering with a global leader in locomotive manufacturing and software development, operating in over 50 countries with more than 27,000 employees worldwide. This role supports a critical cloud platform powering large‑scale IoT applications.
As a Cloud Admin, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the 24/7 operation, support, and deployment of a highly available cloud infrastructure, managing 80+ Kubernetes clusters and 700+ nodes hosted on AWS. You’ll collaborate closely with both local and global teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Support, operate, and maintain a large‑scale cloud platform for IoT applications
- Manage and operate Kubernetes (K8s) clusters across multiple AWS environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure operating 24/7
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with global engineering and platform teams on deployments and operational improvements
- Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and operational tasks on Kubernetes clusters and nodes
- Manage cloud resources across AWS compute, networking, and storage services
- Work with ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests
- Contribute to operational best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Solid hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) administration and operations
- 2+ years of practical experience working with AWS cloud services
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting (3+ years)
- Experience using ticket and service management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Experience supporting production environments with on‑call or 24/7 operations
- Shift Monday to Friday 14:00 from 20:00 ARGTZ
