About The Role

GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company, is at the heart of the global energy transformation. We use data-driven digital solutions to optimize the performance of renewable energy installations around the world. Our work contributes to a more diverse and a more sustainable global energy mix.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to support the development of our Horizon cloud solution. The role focuses on building scalable backend services and data processing components that power our cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for the Horizon solution.
• Implement backend components using TypeScript and Python.
• Contribute to data processing pipelines, ideally using Apache Spark.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build reliable and scalable cloud services.

About You

• Experience with backend development using TypeScript and/or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and API development.
• Experience with Apache Spark or distributed data processing is a plus.
