Job Opportunity: Network Capacity Engineer
Location: Cracow, hybrid model (6 days per month in the office)
Type of contract: B2B
English: B2+
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Network Capacity Engineer to join a global team responsible for maintaining and improving large-scale network environments.
This role focuses on ensuring that network infrastructure is prepared for current and future demand. Instead of reacting to incidents, you will help prevent them by analysing usage trends, identifying risks, and driving improvements in how network capacity is managed.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to ensure network services remain stable, scalable, and efficient across a global environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse network usage and identify potential capacity risks before they impact services
- Support planning of network resources (e.g. bandwidth, devices, infrastructure components)
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure infrastructure is ready for upcoming changes and demand
- Help define and improve processes related to capacity and performance management
- Ensure that changes to the network are properly reviewed from a capacity perspective
- Prioritise actions based on business impact, risk, and effort
- Use monitoring and data analysis to identify trends and optimisation opportunities
- Contribute to reducing recurring incidents by addressing underlying capacity issues
- Work with global stakeholders and external vendors to improve service quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, operations, or infrastructure environments
- Good understanding of how networks function (routing, traffic flow, high availability concepts)
- Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, SevOne or similar)
- Familiarity with SNMP and network performance metrics
- Ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable improvements
- Experience working in structured environments (e.g. ITIL or similar frameworks)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
- Proactive mindset and ownership – focus on solving problems, not only identifying them
What we offer:
- B2B contract.
- Private medical care, life insurance, and access to Multisport card.
- Stable, long-term projects with full-time employment.
If you’d like to have a real impact on the stability and performance of global network infrastructure - we’d be happy to hear from you!
