How you’ll demonstrate Ownership
As a Frontend DevEx Engineer, you’ll play an important role in building and improving the developer experience for our Product engineers. You’ll collaborate with top-tier domain and industry experts: designers, product managers, backend developers, ML engineers, 3D developers, and business leaders. We support one another, ask incisive questions, and give constructive feedback. The Impact you bring to Cognite
- Contribute to architectural discussions and the implementation of scalable solutions across a diverse technology landscape, taking ownership of your tasks from concept to deployment.
- Develop and maintain solutions for developers that genuinely help them get their jobs done.
- Build and implement elegant APIs, intuitive user experiences, and the underlying infrastructure.
- Actively contribute to shaping the developer experience in Cognite.
- Work closely with our skilled developers to understand their needs and build products that help them succeed.
- You write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively champion code quality.
- You possess solid knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript, with proven hands-on experience in frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, or similar component-based architectures).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, build tooling (Webpack, Vite), and testing frameworks is highly valued.
- You love making users happy and are committed to creating products they truly want to use.
- You are capable of prioritizing your tasks and working efficiently to optimize your impact on the team’s goals.
- You’re comfortable learning new coding languages and adopting the best tools for the job.
