Front-End Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our organization's design system
• Build reusable, accessible web components using Web Component APIs
• Implement and enforce accessibility standards across all front-end components
• Develop and maintain end-to-end tests with integrated accessibility testing
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure consistent implementation of design patterns
• Conduct accessibility audits and remediation using industry-standard tools
• Document component usage, accessibility features, and best practices
• Stay current with web standards, accessibility guidelines, and emerging front-end technologies

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Extensive experience with Web Component APIs and custom element development
• Proven track record in design system development and maintenance
• Expert knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA or higher)
• Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS)
