Key Responsibilities

•Support implementation of data governance standards and best practices

•Contribute to data lineage documentation and traceability across systems

•Assist in database design, schema evolution, and data modelling

•Ensure data quality and resolve data-related issues

•Participate in CI/CD processes for database changes

•Support performance tuning, monitoring, and security practices

•Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and technical teams

•Maintain and update technical documentation

Mandatory Qualifications

•Bachelor degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

•Proficiency in English

Mandatory Experience

•Experience in database engineering in enterprise environments

•Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures

•Experience with Azure SQL (or similar relational DBs)

•Exposure to data governance and data quality practices

•Experience with CI/CD tools for database changes

•Ability to document technical processes and solutions

Preferred Experience

•Experience with data lineage and catalog tools

•Exposure to API/data contract alignment with databases

•Experience in financial services or complex environments

•Familiarity with tools like Liquibase or similar

•Understanding of performance tuning and monitoring
