Software Engineer (PHP/Laravel)

They’re developing a suite of systems including AI-powered platforms, automation tools, and customer experience products - all actively used and evolving.

The Role

This role suits a Software Engineer with strong PHP/Laravel experience who wants more than just tickets and maintenance work.

You’ll be involved in building, improving, and scaling systems - with exposure across different products and the opportunity to take ideas from concept through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications
• Take features from concept through to production
• Work across multiple live products and systems
• Debug, optimise, and improve existing codebases
• Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code
• Contribute to technical discussions and code reviews

Tech Environment

• PHP, Laravel
• JavaScript, Tailwind
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis
• Docker, GitLab, CI/CD, monitoring tools

What They’re Looking For

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Solid understanding of OOP and API development
• Experience working with databases and complex queries
• Ability to write scalable, maintainable code
• Someone proactive who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI/ML-driven products
• Experience with Node.js or Python
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks
